Description
Late Checkout is a product design agency, community-oriented venture studio, and studio-fund hybrid founded and led by Greg Isenberg that builds, acquires, and supports community-centric internet products and businesses. Rather than operating as a typical accelerator or VC, Late Checkout blends design services, product strategy, studio creation, and selective fund deployment to help founders and studio portfolio businesses develop ideas into scalable digital products and platforms, often leveraging online communities as a distribution and engagement advantage.
Eligibility
• Founders or teams with community-oriented product ideas or early ventures, often in consumer, SaaS, web3, social, or digital community contexts.
• Companies or founders interested in product design, product build support, or strategic partnership with a studio.
Process
Engagement & Ideation: Projects typically begin through the studio’s internal ideation or founder collaboration — founders or collaborators connect with the Late Checkout team for product direction, design, or early-stage concepts.
Design & Build: Late Checkout leverages its design and product development expertise to build MVPs or scale community-driven products.
Portfolio / Fund Activity: In some cases, the studio backs certain products or ventures with studio capital or supportive resources — but there is no published standardized investment process or equity regime.
Growth & Deployment: Products with traction may receive ongoing support (design, community growth, product iteration), often tied to the founder/studio partnership rather than a formal cohort or term sheet.
