Tectonic Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm based in Cambridge/Newton, Massachusetts that partners with founders building enterprise-focused technologies and mission-driven ventures. Founded in 2016 by seasoned investors including Matthew Rhodes-Kropf and Morris Miller, the firm invests from pre-seed through Series A and beyond, providing capital, mentorship, and strategic support to help startups scale and navigate growth. Eligibility

Process

Founder Outreach / Deal Sourcing: Startups or intermediaries connect with the firm through introductions or outreach aligned with its thesis. 

Pitch & Evaluation: Founders present their business models, traction, and vision; the firm conducts diligence. 

Term Negotiation: If selected, investment amount and equity terms are negotiated per company. 

Capital Deployment & Support: Funds are deployed, and Tectonic provides ongoing mentorship and network introductions.

Follow-On and Scaling: The firm may participate in follow-on funding rounds as companies grow.
