Description
AlleyCorp is a venture capital firm and venture studio based in New York, NY, founded by serial entrepreneur Kevin P. Ryan (founder of MongoDB, Business Insider, Gilt Groupe, and Zola). AlleyCorp builds and invests in transformative technology companies by combining internal idea generation and team building with institutional venture capital capital deployment. It primarily invests in pre-seed and seed rounds (often leading the first check) and supports selected startups through Series A and beyond, offering strategic guidance, operational involvement, and deep ecosystem connections to help founders scale.
Eligibility
• Early-stage technology and transformative ventures with product traction or strong founding teams.

Process
Idea & Sourcing: AlleyCorp either origins startup concepts internally via its venture studio model or sponsors external founders to pitch for investment consideration.
Founder Pitch & Evaluation: Potential companies submit pitch materials or engage with the team for diligence on team, market fit, and technology.
Term Negotiation: If selected, AlleyCorp negotiates investment amount and equity terms tailored to the startup and round.
Capital Deployment & Support: Funds are deployed, often alongside hands-on strategic and operational support from AlleyCorp partners.
Follow-On Rounds: AlleyCorp may continue participating in subsequent fundraising rounds as companies grow.
