Colab

Meet your guides to venture viability.

Los Angeles, CA, USA

Description

Colab (colab.la) is a venture studio and strategic partner based in Los Angeles that builds and scales early-stage companies by combining product development, branding, strategy, market validation, and introductions to external capital. Since its founding, Colab has helped launch 100+ companies and has seen portfolio ventures raise $300 M+ in startup capital, working with founders to refine product-market fit, build MVPs, and attract investors — all within a hands-on co-creation and growth framework rather than a fixed accelerator format.

Eligibility

Early-stage companies seeking strategic product and growth support.
• Founders with a validated concept or MVP ready for development acceleration and external funding readiness.
• Ventures aiming to enhance branding, product adoption, and investor positioning through hands-on studio partnership.

Process

  1. Founders/Teams Connect: Interested founders submit introductory pitch and startup information through Colab’s contact form.

  2. Evaluation & Strategic Planning: Colab evaluates fit with its studio model, assesses product and market potential, and aligns resources to support development.

  3. Product & Brand Development: The team collaborates with founders on product design, MVP development, branding, UX/UI, and go-to-market strategy

  4. Capital Partnering Support: Colab helps prepare companies for external fundraising, introducing them to investors and assisting with investor relations and pitch readiness.

  5. Ongoing Growth Support: As startups scale, Colab continues strategic advising and may adjust support roles (e.g., fractional CTO, marketing, and business development functions).
