AWS Impact Accelerator: Black Founders is a tailored acceleration program for Black‑led startups that combines AWS cloud credits (up to $100K), technical enablement, mentorship from AWS and industry leaders, business strategy support, and access to ecosystem partners to help founders accelerate product development, scale infrastructure, and expand market reach. Benefits include credits, workshops, expert sessions, and Demo Day style exposure to customers and partners.

Eligibility

Black founders or Black‑led leadership teams building scalable tech products.
• Companies with a live product or MVP that can benefit from AWS cloud scaling.
• Teams prepared to engage in acceleration programming and leverage AWS technical resources.

Process

Apply Online: Founders submit applications during open windows on the AWS Startups Impact Accelerator signup page.

Selection: AWS evaluates for strategic fit (Black founder leadership, tech maturity, product traction).

Cohort Kickoff: Accepted teams start a multi‑week accelerator blending virtual and in‑person sessions.

Program Engagement: Technical deep dives, workshops, mentoring, and business support help teams refine product engineering and go‑to‑market plans.

Demo / Showcase: Startups get opportunities to present to AWS leaders, partners, and potential collaborators/ customers.
