Description

The Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI Atlanta) is a 9‑month hybrid accelerator program powered by the City of Atlanta and Invest Atlanta that supports early‑stage women entrepreneurs with structured mentorship, strategic business development, leadership growth, community building, partnership opportunities, and pathways to funding. WEI combines workshops, curated resources, expert sessions, and peer support to help women founders scale sustainable and scalable businesses.

Eligibility

Women founders & women‑led teams building sustainable and scalable businesses.
Atlanta‑area or ecosystem‑aligned startups (emphasis on local economic impact).
• Ventures at an early growth stage with a product, service, or business model ready for acceleration.

Process

Application: Founders apply online to join the next WEI cohort. 

Selection: WEI selects women‑led ventures based on potential fit, business stage, and growth readiness. 

Program Delivery: Participating entrepreneurs engage in hybrid programming (virtual + in‑person workshops, mentor sessions, leadership labs, and curated curriculum). 

Community & Ecosystem Access: Cohort members connect with mentors, investor networks, city partners, and peers throughout the program.
