VelocityTX is a nonprofit science and innovation hub in San Antonio, Texas that provides workspace, lab facilities, maker and prototyping support, and ecosystem programming for technology, biotech, and medical research companies. As a collaborative innovation campus, it fosters partnerships with public research agencies (including military health research units), universities, and private sector players to accelerate technology development, testing, and commercialization within an innovation ecosystem.

Eligibility

Process

Engagement & Inquiry: Startups or innovators contact VelocityTX to explore workspace, lab access, or collaboration opportunities. 

Fit Assessment: VelocityTX evaluates facility needs, space utilization, and collaboration potential (e.g., with research partners). 

Onboarding & Access: Accepted organizations receive workspace/lab access, equipment, and ecosystem introductions. 

Collaboration & Growth: Through events, partnerships, and cross‑sector programs, tenant companies connect with investors, mentors, military and civilian research partners, and commercialization pathways.
