Techstars WaterTech & Sustainability Accelerator is a 13‑week early‑stage accelerator program focused on startups building innovative solutions in water technology, climate resilience, and broader sustainability challenges. Participants receive $120,000 in funding (structured as $20K cash + $100K convertible), 6% equity deal, intensive mentorship from industry experts, curated curriculum, and access to the global Techstars network of investors, corporates, and partners to accelerate product development and fundraising.
Eligibility
• Early‑stage startups with technology or business models addressing water systems, sustainability, climate resilience, resource efficiency, and related domains.
• Teams with MVP or early product, strong founding team, and scalable business model.
• Founders willing to engage with mentor network, programming cadence, and investor readiness activities.
Process
Application Submission: Founders apply online with their team, product, market, and traction details through Techstars portal.
Selection & Interviews: Shortlisted teams go through interviews with program leadership and mentors.
Acceptance & Funding: Selected startups receive the standard Techstars investment package and join the cohort.
13‑Week Accelerator: Startups participate in structured mentorship, workshops, and networking while advancing key milestones.
Demo Day & Investor Exposure: Cohort culminates in opportunities to pitch investors, partners, and media to support follow‑on funding and scaling.
