Description
StartOut Growth Lab is a cohort‑based growth program run by StartOut, a national nonprofit organization supporting LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs. The program helps early‑stage founders accelerate growth through structured mentorship, fundraising preparation, investor introductions, and peer support, without taking equity. It is built to help startups become venture‑fundable and scalable while strengthening access to inclusive startup ecosystems.
Eligibility
• LGBTQ+ founders or startups with LGBTQ+ leadership representation.
• Startups with product in market and early traction.
• Companies preparing for seed or Series A fundraising.
Process
Application: Founders apply online during open application cycles.
Selection: Companies are selected based on traction, scalability, team strength, and readiness to raise capital.
Program Participation: Accepted startups join a structured growth curriculum, mentor sessions, and investor‑focused programming.
Investor Exposure: Founders gain access to angels, VCs, and ecosystem partners through curated introductions and demo‑style events.
