Description

We are the Bruin Angels, an investor network under the UCLA Alumni Association. Our mission is to support the UCLA entrepreneurial ecosystem by bringing Bruin alumni to bear as angel investors deploying capital for UCLA’s most promising startup companies.

This application is for UCLA alumni or supporters of the University who are accredited investors under SEC Rule 501 of Regulation D, or interested in learning more about angel investing.

Bruin Angels is here for you. We were founded in 2024 to help educate, connect and empower Bruins looking to give back to the UCLA community with angel investing. Our goal is to provide regular events meant to source investment, facilitate learning about angel investing and create opportunities for Bruin Angels to connect both with one another, other local angel groups and Bruin-led startup companies.

Eligibility

Whether you are an accredited investor (as defined by SEC Rule 501 of Regulation D) or exploring the world of angel investing, Bruin Angels offers a unique opportunity to connect with and support the UCLA startup community. We welcome applications from all UCLA alumni and supporters who are passionate about fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Process

We appreciate your interest in membership. To apply, please complete and submit this form. Your application will be carefully considered in a two-stage review process: an initial screening followed by a review by the full membership committee. We aim to communicate the results of the review within one month of your application date. Upon approval, we will welcome you as a member and process the $1,200 membership fee.
