The company's founders have more than 50 years of combined experience in entertainment and sports, which includes three successful startups. The idea for the company was born as a result of a dare from the producer of HBO's True Blood. The founders developed a mathematical approach to understanding the contextual value of social media, which proved to be successful. Over the past five years, they have continued to develop their theories, methods, and technologies to create a core platform that goes beyond analytics and delves into the world of predictive and conversational artificial intelligence. With insights from industry friends, the founders designed three solutions that focus on risk, profiling, and enhancing the value of social media, all with the aim of improving the bottom line. The past year has been dedicated to customer trials and market research to ensure that the company is delivering the necessary solutions. Within the enterprise, the platform supports those involved in background vetting, brand alignment, marketability, public relations, risk management, story arc performance, sponsorships, influencers, and more. Ekkobar brings together all the different departments together to ensure their efforts are successful and free from the internal and external dangers lurking in social media.

Within the Platform are two web-based application solutions:

  1. Risk & Reputation Assessment
    • Focused on the conversation from talent (actor, athlete, brand)
    • By looking backward and forward, we can identify risks around a talent's social media past, identify what is working related to engagement and marketability, ensure social media sponsorship obligations are met, alert when an inappropriate post is made, and more.
    • There is a one-time fee per background assessment and an ongoing monthly subscription to monitor the talent's social media accounts.
  2. Conversational Insights
    • Focused on the conversation around an entity (brand, team, league, show, talent)
    • By examining the conversation, we can surface the "who, what, and why" buried within to support marketing and public relation efforts, casting sentiment, media influence, KOL validation and impact, conversation drivers, and more.
    • There is a monthly subscription fee based on type of project and amount of social media data.
