BUSINESS MODEL
BioFam Services can be summarized in four differently distinct but connected "facets":
1st facet – Support & Development for Adoption, Foster Care, Orphan Youth
We are an online community of support for adopted youth to feel celebrated with eLearning, eMentorship, career development for foster care youths, cultural identity programs, reading/video resources, professional business speaking course, etc. There are roughly 447,000 foster care youths currently in the foster care system!
2nd facet – Mental Health & Cultural Guidance Support for Adoptive Guardians/Bio-Parents
We are an online community to help mentor adopted parents, especially parents who adopted children outside of their race. My parents were never shy about admitting "We can't teach you how to be Black because we aren't Black." Instead of causing this to be the 'elephant in the room' that we avoid, we celebrated it. We outreached to people and places for help but, at that time and era, resources were limited. This program aims to fill that void. I have attached a PDF file of celebrities who have adopted outside of their face, therefore there is a huge market segment and beachhead market for the development of this untapped niche and industry!
3rd facet – Legal Aid towards Adoption Case Filing for Guardians, Adoption Attorneys
An artificial intelligence [AI] & machine learning [ML] database that helps prospective couples who are looking to adopt gain insights into the legal NYS adoption process with a step-by-step hypothetical/application case file throughout the various forms with AI chatbot resources, streamline application assistance, a Virtual Adoption Assistant [VAA], etc. The aim is to make people feel comfortable with the long [1-4 year on average] and expensive [$10,000 - $30,000 and up depending on variables] process. Roughly 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 people consider adoption or have considered it, studies show!
4th facet – AI & Machine Learning for PTSD Development in Foster Care Youths
An artificial intelligence [AI] & machine learning [ML] database which we can conduct tests and deploy surveys for members of our community to fill out. Their responses populate our datasets which our generative AI, conversational AI, and natural language processing [NLP] methods. These methods can dissect, analyze, and theorize into research, reports, and other related data outlets by identifying common challenges, underlying psychiatric/psychological/socio-economic/ethnic patterns towards empirical and theoretical solutions. Additionally, these methods may potentially improve programs and suggestions for better adoption law(s), mental health practices, and social work.
